Undergraduate degree in Psychology from Towson University, 2015

I received a Masters degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology in 2017. As a trauma-informed, certified dialectical behavioral therapist, I can provide skills to cope with a variety of challenges and symptoms. I encourage the balance of acceptance and change, while meeting the client where they are, as every individual is unique in their own background and learning history. Through providing a validating, genuinely authentic, safe space, clients will build a sense of trust, resilience, and grounding within themselves.

I have experience working with children, adolescents, and adults across diverse populations and I strive to maintain awareness of cultural considerations within our therapeutic relationship.I have experience working in community-based therapy, a comprehensive DBT program including group skills training, and the school-based environment. Furthermore, I have experience working with individuals struggling with a variety of issues, some of which include: trauma-related issues, mood disorders, depression, anxiety, stress, ADHD and behavioral issues, development of interpersonal skills/ communication, emotion regulation, and tolerance of distress.
